Having watched the TV programme 'A Place in the Sun' early in 05, I decided to come out to Sal and see what all the fuss was about.
There wasn't a great deal of information available at the time of my visit.
While on the island of Sal I carried out some research and on my return to the UK I started to be put it all together. The site was launched later that year.
In April 06 I moved to Sal. After 3 yrs of living and working on the island I have seen some positive changes, although the terrain looks exactly the same.
