• There is a Dentist in Santa Maria and a few more in Espargos.

• The Dentist in Santa Maria is situated on the road behind the Post office building, heading away from Santa Maria to the east. They are open in the mornings and later in afternoon, also Sat a.m. They also have a mobile no. written on the door for emergencies.

• 2011 - The German dentist at the Murdeira Clinic has now ceased practising and has sold all her equipment to a dental surgery on Sao Vicente.

• There are two in Espargos. One of them is at Clinic Sorridente, Lda.
