Simplicity Wedding Ceremony package

A 'Simplicity Package' & service can be used by couples wanting a symbolic blessing for a newly wed reading, renewal of vows or love and devotion reading.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not provide chairs or a 'Pastor' in with the 'Simplicity Package' service. No other equipment, decoration or furniture is provided other than what is in the Simplicity Package.

This service is called 'Simplicity' because we keep it 'simple'. This 'package' is what most couples have requested, it's at a reasonable fixed price and couples can see what they are going to get for their Euros.

Once you have successfully submitted the enquiry form, we will contact you to request further information and, to discuss your request in more detail, before we can accept a reservation.

Most of the ceremonies have been for 'Couples Only' however, there have been some held for those that have brought their children on holiday with them.

We use a 'Layperson' (one of our team) to deliver the reading (not a 'Pastor'). Most of the readings are delivered in the English language however, we have had some delivered in a few other languages but, this also depends on who is available to perform the readings and, the languages they speak!

The service and ceremony may be requested for a certain area of beach other than those we offer, however, there may be reasons why this is not practical for us. Also, please note, that on occasions, we may discover there may be other conflicting arrangements or events taking place in the same area of beach that have been organissed by others, that we have no knowledge of and are out of our control.

There are currently three venues (beach areas) at which we provide the 'Simplicity Package'

1.the first being near to ( but to the left of ), Porto Antigo Residence
2.the second is near to ( but to the left of ), the Sal Hilton Hotel.
3.the third being over on the west coast at Ponta Preta on the beach.

There is a slight difference in price between 1. with 2.& 3., due to additional transport being required.

The three areas of beach are slightly different, one is on the beach to the side of a resort, another is to the side of a Hotel, the third is on the west coast at Ponta Preta (away from other resorts/hotels), sometimes it's more open to the elements.

A Simplicity Package includes:

• - Administration and Management
  
• - Pre-Organisation other services
  
• - Suggested options for readings
• - Venue (either) - Side of Porto Antigo Residence / Side of 'Sal Hilton Hotel' / Ponta Preta beach on west coast.
  
• - Pre-meeting arrangements (transport not included)
  
• - Ceremony Day – organisation, transport (one taxi for couple to ceremony) and set up included.
  
• - Layperson to perform the reading for your ceremony (not a Pastor)
  
• - Decorated Arch (artificial decorations)
  
• - Small table and cloth
  
• - Vase (or other decoration) for table.
  

We use one of our team to take a number of memorable photos during the ceremony, they are not 'official wedding photographers'. You will normally receive 40-50 photos for a fixed fee.

The initial information we would require from you would be:

- The dates you are visiting Sal Island (from/to)?

- If you are you celebrating a certain event in your lives?

- Is there anyone travelling with you?

- Where you will be staying on Sal?

- If you provide us with information about yourselves on the enquiry form below, we can provide you with further information and then, related costs.

A 'Simplicity' ceremony will look similar to the furniture arrangement in the image below, though the arch can be decorated differently :

IMPORTANT NOTE: For those looking at a larger or 'bespoke' service, whereby you intend to invite 'Family and Friends' to your ceremony or prefer a Pastor from the Evangelical (Nazarene) Church to perform the ceremony (plus a translator), then the 'Simplicity Package' service is not for you. However, although we are no longer personally organising the larger 'Family and Friends' service, or arranging a Pastor for 'bespoke' services, we will put you in touch with our service partner with whom, you can make further enquiries.
